Shireen Allan
President of ICOMOS Palestine since 2021, she leads community-based projects at the Anata Cultural Center, focusing on the preservation of Palestinian traditions, community empowerment, and cultural heritage documentation. One of her notable programs is based at the Anata Cultural Centre, where Palestinian women are employed to create modern clothing using traditional needlework techniques. This initiative not only helps preserve the art of traditional needlework but also provides employment opportunities for women in the community.
